I really like baking things, but I don’t really care for the sugar induced fluff that gathers around my waist/thighs. Self control really isn’t Kent or I’s strong suit… so I have been resorting to paleo recipes to feel better about our sweet indulgences.
I found this recipe and decided to give it a try. I wasn’t going to tell Kent it was made of black beans and an avocado… but he saw the empty can and sliced avocado and put two and two together. Either way – he ate them! (and enjoyed them!)
The end result! I think I left them in a little too long – the outside pieces were a little dry but the middle was surprisingly fudgy. They run around 125 calories a piece & they’re DELICIOUS. Find the full nutrition facts here.
