Right before Sarah and I came home for the weekend, I bought the Halloween sampler from Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. I’ve finished it since this picture, but I’m looking forward to the rest of the clues that come in the coming months! It’s also the first time I’ve stitched on Evenweave instead of Aida, I think it looks 100x better.

We spent the HOT HOT HOT day at the pool @ Mariner Sands on Saturday. The girls & I tried to beach it up on Thursday but we only lasted forty minutes tops. One of those stale, blistering hot days with no wind to break it up. Then, last night my uncle Scott & aunt Jen came over with my cousins Anna & Will. I haven’t seen Jen & the kids in YEARS so it was nice to hang out with them & light some stuff up.

Overall, such a good weekend. I’m off to Tally at the end of the month, so it was nice to be home with everyone since things are changing up shortly. Kent said goodbye to my Mom last night and mentioned he might not be seeing her until Thanksgiving, due to the unbearably long ride home and a lack of long weekends coming up. When she heard that I think everyone got a little nervous and realized how important the time together is.

’til next time! :*
